What We Believe

We believe that:

1. True equity and justice are achieved with God’s help, and when properly honored, it restores individuals and communities to God’s design for his kingdom.

2. God desires equity and justice for all humanity.

3. The idea and application of equity and justice is a counter-cultural spiritual pursuit.

4. Equity and justice work takes patience, courage, long-suffering, and the fruit of the Holy Spirit to be sustained.

5. Our work includes employing patience and grace toward hearts that desire to change.

6. Inward (heart) transformation and tangible, measurable outward impact go hand-in-hand.

7. Spiritual practices invite Jesus to transform hearts to look like his.

8. Oppression-related heart wounds, broken identities, misinformed beliefs, and harmful behaviors for individuals and communities can be transformed and healed through Jesus.
