Why This Curriculum?

Every church longs to look more like Jesus—to welcome the vulnerable, heal division, and build communities where people truly belong. But without intentional formation, unity doesn’t just happen.

The Radical Belonging Curriculum gives leaders the tools they need to form people in the way of Jesus and create belonging that reaches all the way to the margins of their city.

  • Churches want unity, diversity, and authentic community but feel stuck.

  • Many don’t know how to create belonging that includes people experiencing poverty, instability, cultural difference, or church hurt.

  • Belonging is often shallow, fragile, or reserved for those already comfortable in church spaces.

  • Jesus begins community at the margins. Churches want to follow Him, but lack tools and guidance.

This framework helps church leaders:

  • build community from a foundation of identity and Scripture,

  • address cultural counter-formation,

  • walk gently with pain,

  • practice belonging in real, embodied ways,

  • and welcome marginalized neighbors into shared life with dignity.

Your gift helps build a video-based curriculum + leader resource that makes this accessible to churches everywhere.

Belonging begins not with our effort, performance, or personality, but with God’s initiative. Before we do anything, we belong to God because He has chosen, adopted, and invited us into His family through Jesus (Eph. 1:3–5).
This movement invites participants to awaken to the truth that belonging is a kingdom identity. It reframes identity around God’s love rather than human approval and provides the spiritual grounding necessary for all other movements within the curriculum.
When we start from belonging, we become free to grow, repent, heal, and practice unity without fear of rejection.

A Movement-by-Movement Funding Plan

We estimate that each movement in the Radical Belonging Framework costs about $5,000 to produce.

To steward our resources wisely, we are raising funds one movement at a time.

As each movement is funded, we immediately begin production—allowing churches to access the content as it’s completed rather than waiting for the entire project.

I have long looked for a tool that honors the slow work of spiritual formation while addressing the deep divides of race, class, and table fellowship. The Radical Belonging Curriculum is that tool. Deeply rooted in Scripture, it moves beyond theory to offer a practical roadmap for change, equipping our people to embody Shalom across the divides of our society.

The counter-cultural, genuine community that Jesus commanded His followers to create can be hard to find. Inclusion of forgotten or neglected people into the life of the church is messy and awkward work. It doesn’t come easily or naturally, even to the most well-intentioned churches.

The Radical Belonging Curriculum can be a much-needed resource to help God’s people deepen their understanding of a biblical worldview of belonging and provide a roadmap to richer fellowship and worship in our churches.
